I'm a passionate world traveler,.both as a career US Navy Photographer and Journalist,.and also as an intrepid student of global culture. I have always had a passion for creativity and great respect for creative people in all areas of media, art, fashion and cinema.

The idea for what would become "Dio Bussola came about after meeting and falling deeply in love with a stunning Italian - Ethiopian woman. We had discussed creating an adventurous fashion brand that covered both the sustainability of vintaged garments as well as unique new designs and concepts based on both Italian and American culture.
Unfortunately my Queen Bee passed away after a brave battle with cancer. However, the vivid dream we shared lives on through the innovative yet classic inspired fashion journey that is
