For certain styles of Leather outer garments,..the difference between the real and the authentic can be pronounced and even stunning,.if not jarring. But for a coat as heavy in design as the US Military WW2 B-3Bomberjacket or the British Irwin Jacket modern technology has made it possible to produce synthetic leathers "PU Leather" thats pretty close to the old school originals in look and feel.
