A Few of My Suit & Jacket Looks

Every now and then i can pull off a small miracle and actually create a stylish, well-put together appearance for myself. LoL
Not every image or video will have commentary because many of these garments are long gone having been left behind abruptly during the chaotic period of the COVID pandemic. Bu i will TRY to provide some context to these semi rare occasions were Im actually dressed up a bit.
NOTE- I am goign to continuosly update this part of the blog- so check back every now and then please:)
Rome, Italy,.around 2017 in my apartment outside the city. I wish i still owned this suit despite the fact that it was a bit too heavy for the summer months. I think it was a cotton poly mix but the fit seems really nice in this image.
The absolute coolest thing about this outfit is my leather vest,.which i purchased right there in Rome , most likely at there Porte Portese Flea Market,..LoL
Same City,.same apartment,.only this time I am only my balcony enjoying what was apparently a wonderful day to be outside. Whats more Im sure everything Im wearing here is indeed cotton and made right there in Italy. I really miss this type of cool casual authentic style. And i also miss taking a simple moment to just sit outside in teh cool of teh day,.and enjoy life!!
LoL. I remember paying a fellow expat student at my University there in Rome a few euros to follow me around and take these photos of me. What a fun day that was. This is my sort of instructing him on what type of poses and lenses and such to use. The first of two iamges in front of the Roman Coloseum!
I'm skipping the second Coloseum pic for a bit to showcase this image ( wish Id decided to shave,.LoL) of me wearing one of the few pinstriped jackets with waht appears to be trousers from another outfit, or at least there gray pants not designed with that particualr jacket. it showcases how you can match different "suit seperates to acheive a nice "put -together look that works. I also like how this jacket is one of the few that isnt pulling too tightly on my chest. Something thats been a weird trend in mens wear for a while now that can throw off the styling of your outfit.
Same basic pieces as the outfit from my baclcony only darker pants. This is obviously also in Rome, Italy #rome and its a testament to how breathable , diverse and stylish good quality linen can be in places where the summers are brutally hot! I rarely had moment were i felt overwhelmed by the heat. I really learned to appreciate good linen while living as an #expat in #italy all those years,.and learned a lot about mens style also. At my feet are my old #G1bomberjacket and my awesome leather briefcase. I stil onw the leather briefcase ,..atleast,.LoL
Back in my aprtment outside Rome,.and this is me in another terrific jacket that i really miss. A wool gray piece with what seems to be a slight tartan pattern on it. I was still a bit warm for the brutal Roman summer but it fit extremely well and gave off a vibe unlike anything else i have owned before or since.
Back at the Coloseum i apparently figured out how i wanted to pose,.LoL. Its itneresting to me because i am wearing almost all black but still was comfortable ?! I'm glad this image is nice because this outfit was a bit too tight and i have moments were I am totally in love with al black and moments were i hate wearing too much dark color. This was obviously one of those days i felt it worked,.adn i guess it does. Great memories !
