Sky Blue Waxed Denim Jacket

Waxing denim has been a "thing" among a segment of the heritage clothing for some time now. The general idea is to add some type of heated wax ( usually beeswax) to some type of fabric in order to make it more resistant to moisture.

This gnarly looking specimen is one of my more outrageous and possibly agregious examples but in a wild "over the top" fashion.

Its a heavy weight ( possibly 16 ounch ) denim thats been both painted and waxed with a couple layers are actaully varied in their levels of application and thinkness depending on exaclty were your looking.

I was going for a twisted sort of "Rick Owens" meets "Raph Lauren" vibe and this almost captures that energy but its a bit too bright and "electron blue" to truly meet that visual goal. But i am fond of it anyway,.LoL!
