Everyone loves what the various #Japanesedenim manufacturers have done with teh classic American staples #Denim.
However,.im pretty curious as to how a fully forward looking American design asthetic can interact with sustainability ( the up cycling part) and create a new visual flair for newly produced Selvedge denim produced right here in its country of development,.( note i didnt say country of origin)!

Thats on purpose,.because denim as a fabric itself isn't an "US of A" invention,.but the particular garment known as "#Bluejeans" are!
So i am trying to find a better way to repurpose denim blue jeans to some extent and eventually produce my own fully sustainable new brand.
A quick google search will reveal that The United States currently has very few mills capable of producing authentic selvedge denim. Domestic production is primarily driven by one major industrial mill and a couple of specialized artisanal weavers.
So,.your rally looking at an uphill battle as far as supplying any sort of US resurgence in making this fabric. And thats fine ( atleast for now) but im really leaning into the whole "up cycle" part at this moment,.so we can focus on new designs in the coming weeks and months.

Like i mention in my video,.i m just really being as wild and creative as i can be with garments that all ready exist so i can sort of "find my tribe" and see what eventually evolves into a new "American " denim visual style. So please feel free to contact me and comment.
