Tube construction coupled with compelling original art designs, puts Nausica Rotolo heads and shoulders above the norm!
Young artists can fall into some pretty predicable categories concerning both their subject matter and stylistic approach to said subjects and it all can feel a bit "cliche".
However,.once in a long while you come across someone really trying to communicate a sense emotional depth and vision alongside what might be well explored tropes in the visual genres that most young people gravitate towards.
You know the ones I'm talking about. Its interesting that when your 20-28 years old a tattoo of skulls, eagles and tribal designs on every dudes biceps ( artistic tattoo tropes for young men) and for females,you get a whole lot of cursive writings, feathers that turn into flying birds and the "infinity" sign,.among a few others. They are very "cool" when you're in you first few years of independent adulthood but soon become "tired tattoos"!
So,.it is pretty refreshing when you take a gander at the almost totally deeply evocative artwork by Ms Nausica Rotolo,.
There's some truly interesting and evocative imagery being created here actually. Its not just the measured use of color,.shape and size,.but the themes of the duality of nature and the fragility of human life are touched on with a maturity and balance thats a bit beyond the years that the artist herself has actually experienced.
Then there's the actual quality of the construction of the sirts themselves. I hvae not been silent on how much these punch above their weight class in how well they're made. Often using lighter mixed cotton and elastic tube construction thats fitted but not too snug against the body,.and allowing for some really good fabirc breathing and air circulation. There nothing like full on tube wheel tee shits,.but who can compete with a $160 tee shirt handmade in germany. These atre superior but still highly attainable,,.LoL
